Description
Compound adjectives! An ideal way to fill a few spare minutes. The basic structure is 'it's a two-minute walk'. Sounds easy? Not many students can do this. Teach them to say 'I have a 15-year old brother' and other such useful English!

Description
English has a wealth of vocabulary to describe someone's character. The list can be quite daunting for students!

These cards provide a fun way to help your students build their knowledge of these adjectives.

There are sixteen different words (e.g. sympathetic, vain, short-tempered) which students need to match to the descriptions.
