Making the Payment |

PayPal (or 2Checkout) aren't accepting my card. Why? |
| |
You need to be careful about the following when paying with PayPal or 2Checkout: |
| |
|
| 1) |
Make sure you enter your
name exactly as written on the card. |
| |
|
| 2) |
You need to enter the billing address of the card. This might be different to your home address, especially if you're living abroad.
When entering the billing address for your card, choose the correct country first. The address fields will then change, making it easier for you to enter the billing address. |
| |
|
| 3) |
You'll need to enter your 'Card Verification Number', as well as your credit card number.
This verification number is three digits (for Visa and MasterCard). You'll find it on the back of the card, on the signature strip.
It's usually the final three digits.
You'll need to enter both your billing address and the security code correctly in order for the payment to go through. As soon as it does, you'll have instant access to all the worksheets.
If you are using American Express, the verification number is four digits, and can be found on the front of the card.

PayPal won't let me enter the correct address. |
| |
When entering your billing address, choose the country first. It's in a drop down list. Wait a moment, and the screen will update and you'll find the boxes you need to fill in correspond with your country's address style. [back] |

Do I need to become a PayPal member? |
| |
No, you don't. When you click through from Handouts Online to the PayPal payment screen, you'll be given two choices. One says 'Log into your PayPal account'. Only click on this if you are a PayPal member.
If you aren't a PayPal member, click on the link which says 'Pay by credit card'.
It's not necessary to become a PayPal member. You just need to enter your credit card information, and you're finished! It's quick and very secure. [back] |

What can I do if PayPal doesn't accept my country? |
| |
PayPal now accepts credit cards from almost any country. If your country is not on the drop-down list, you can still join, by using 2Checkout.
If you have already created an account with Handouts Online (but haven't paid for it yet), you can log into it, using the username and password you chose. Scroll down, and you will see a section marked 'Add / Renew Membership'. Select the membership type (Individual or Group), and choose 2Checkout as the payment method. When you click on 'continue', you'll be taken to the 2Checkout payment page. [back] |
